Me too. But how would you make the tiny spark plugs?

$4k for a tiny CNC mill? Granted it’s 5-axis, but no thanks, I’d rather get a used Bridgeport with lots of tooling and a much larger build envelop for that price.

If I had the money to buy this for my dad, he would be laughing....very hard.

Runs on “nitro” fuel- only requires glow plugs.

And you wouldn’t be able to hold the tolerance this thing can. And you’d lose a 1/4 of your garage to a huge mill instead of having a small desktop thing. This is like if I showed you the new Miata and you told me you could get a used Tundra for the same price.

A Bridgeport can’t hold tolerance? Are you serious?

The 5-inch build envelope is the big deal-breaker, sure it’s cool to have but for me there isn’t anything really useful I want to build that fits that small of an envelope.

That is simply awesome. It sounds just like I would imagine a mini V8 would.

There is a $4k bridgeport that can hold half a mil? In the past I needed a HERMLE to hold that which I was told was closer to $1M. But I work with really small precise parts.

Ah, I missed read the number you were talking about. Still, the repeatability of 2 thousandths is kinda large compared to the tolerance they have listed.

To each their own, I personally need a machine with a larger bed so it isn’t for me.
